When I began this book, I found it hard to put it down. Not only is it well written, but it speaks of women today with
their urban lifestyles and how we put God on the back burner. Once I finished the book, I wished I had read it
years ago and made a concrete decision to follow God. It's truly not that hard, but we make it hard when we want
to keep one foot in the world and the other in God's footprint. I feel every girl should be made to read this book
before she reaches puberty; every young adult female should read this book; and every adult female should read
this book. This book should become the handbook for every female ministry in our churches today as a way of
teaching our women that they ARE worthy of being Queens and need to keep themselves celibate until they meet
their Prince.



I thank God for you and your book. I was browsing the book section in Wal-Mart and the title caught my attention.
It was as if that book was made for me. Immediately, I got rid of all my so call boyfriends and friends who I knew
would not understand and leaped out on faith.


I know this journey that I am about to take wont be easy but I just stepped out on faith and told the Lord that the
situation was his and that I had to let some people go and stop doing what I was doing ...I can really relate to so
many situations in the book it’s like I was there and I was really blessed by it.


I just purchased this book on Saturday and I would like to say that this book is a God send. You know this book
has really hit close to home. I really needed this book.

Hello! I don't know if you remember me, but I attended the SSE workshop on the last evening that you all
discussed the book. Anyway, I have not stopped thinking about the conversations that took place that night. It has
really helped me to push forward on my journey as a single woman.


I am really enjoying this book. It so perfectly puts into words what I decided to just 6 weeks ago. I had tried before
knowing that I am a Christian woman, but had always fallen. This book is going to encourage so many women.

I just completed your book. I am not a single sister and honestly I didn't think this book was for me, but I love to
read and try out new books. This book was wonderful. My plan is to pass on your book and what I’ve learned to as
many women that will listen and are open to receive. Thanks for your creativity and for a book that's seemed so
real to me as I read. I admit I cried more than a few times while reading this and evaluating my own life. I end in
saying your book has been a blessing to my life.


I have literally just finished "The Single Sister Experiment" and I have totally enjoyed it.  This was the first book I
have read by you and if this is a maiden effort - DON'T LET IT BE YOUR LAST!  


I have recommended the book to everyone I know that reads, married and single.  I once again praised GOD for
getting me out of the single realm.  I thought about my life before marriage and had to thank GOD again for
keeping me safe when I chose to do things MY way.  Your characters were so much like people I know, knew and
saw in myself. Their reactions, questions and thoughts were mine, the hurts and fears were real.  


I really don't where to start. They're so many adjectives I can describe this novel this way and that way. However, I
think I'll do this way. I thank GOD for your kindness in caring this conversation from one of your friends. You didn't
have to do this, thank you so much. Your novel was very informative, scary (deep), meaningful, uplifting, eye
opener, to the point, and most of all, it needs a sequel.


I am almost done with the book but I just wanted to thank Mimi Jefferson for allowing God to use her is such a

This book is awesome to say the least! I am a single Christian woman and it has been difficult for me to admit
certain things about myself and my life that I need to change. This book gives so much clarity that you will be able
to see yourself and transform into the woman GOD truly wants and needs you to be. I recommend this book as a
guide and a talking tool for group discussions about this topic or just being single and living as a Christian. I loved
it and recommend it too all single or married!


I really enjoyed this book. It was recommended and better than I thought. Along with the story, there were several
scriptures that character used to find strength in certain situations. Great Book Club read too!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. As a single woman myself, the book made me do a self-examination of my life and
the reason why I am the way I am.

I agree with the other reviewers that this novel is a magnificent read. It was fast paced and grabbed my attention
from the prologue to the end. The novel stirred all my emotions and helped me to reflect on God's word and how
wonderful God is when we surrender. I commend Ms. Jefferson for writing this novel because women, men and
teens need to take part in this experiment.


Wonderful novel..God is so merciful if we confess our sins unto Him. This book is such a great novel. I highly
recommend you want be disappointed!


This book really makes you think!! I could really relate to the Joan character. This book was excellent to me, it
makes you really wanna make some changes in your life


This book shows the raw struggle of the Christian lifestyle that is oven sugarcoated in other books. I had to put
the book down because it was piercing my own heart and I was remembering when I felt the same as the
characters. Although this book is fashioned for the sistas, men can learn from this book too. Men can see their
part in women lives good and/or bad and they can see their own struggle. This is a must read for men, women,
young adults, and new Christians.


"The Single Sister Experiment" reminds us that each day is a new day, and that while good intentions may carry
us for a certain distance, they alone aren't enough. We must first seek our Savior and commit to making serious
changes in our lives, recognizing that He waits to gently help us return to Him when we fail.


It is a great book. I am also recommending this book to all the single women in my church and to our Women's
Ministry.

I plan to send it to the singles ministry at my church and ask them to put it on their book reading list.  I was really
